The World is a Wondrous Library

If you enjoy books and their many escapes,

read the world’s genres of landscapes!

The oceans are novels wild and free;

beaches are interfaces for poetry.

Mountain ranges are adventure tales,

the peaks where mysticism books prevail.

Swamps are where horror stories unfold;

rivers are action stories waiting to be told.

Forests shroud sci-fi and fantasy writings;

cities the places for true crime sightings.

Valleys are where to find the romance section;

brooks and streams are short story collections.

Deserts are where to find self-help aid;

lakes are where memoirs are arrayed.

Prairies are where to find children’s stories—

and these are just some of the categories

on the vast and boundless itinerary

when the world is a wondrous library.
