CREATIVE WRITINGS
Language is a form of expression and a gateway to connection.
Each of us feels and responds to life in our own unique way, with the ability to express our thoughts and feelings through language.
Letters and their sounds are like building blocks, from which words are constructed and language is formed.
Both written and spoken language can be powerful and transformative, depending on what inspires it and what energies it connects to.
Here are some creative writings for your inspiration and enjoyment.

Let Me See Clearly - Let Me Be Changed By What I See
Let me see clearly. Let me be changed by what I see… Perhaps seeing clearly begins with impartiality—a willingness to let what is there speak before I decide what it means. Can I notice what I hope to find? Can I notice what I may not want to be true? What have I already assumed to be true? Without some impartiality, exploration can quietly become confirmation. I may think I am searching when I am only gathering support for what I already believe. Perhaps humility enters when I become willing to say, I may not yet know. Can I stay open when what I find unsettles what I thought I understood? Can I bear correction without rushing to defend myself? Can I remain with uncertainty long enough for something clearer to emerge? Impartiality might be as simple as hearing two people describe the same disagreement without deciding beforehand which one must be right. Humility might be as simple as discovering that something I have believed for years rested on incomplete understanding—and being willing to revise it. Sincerity matters. But sincerity does not guarantee accuracy. What I believe may still need to be tested, explored, and changed. Perhaps not knowing is not a failure of the search. Perhaps it is where the search honestly begins. Let me see clearly. Let me be changed by what I see… - Ed Dowrick

The Glow From Deep
To be with it is everything. The warmth, the glow from deep. It has no words, no description, This constant flame that leaps. It’s always there, never changing. Its faith is real, beyond our own. So vast and true, to us unknown. And yet, it is felt, it is recognized. So that suggests the respondent part in us Is made the same. For us to know, to grow Through the touching of the flame, Recognizing it, calling its name. - Jean Ebert

We Are Hope
We often say whether we are hopeful or not, but this is not accurate. Like a stone, we are hope. We radiate hope from the living of life; we have appetites, we yearn, we learn, we grow into a tribe. There, we can sing the song of ourselves, that vibration so unique in the universe. We look to the sky for inspiration, but we can be the sky, the dusk, the dream. We are more powerful than we perceive, more potentialed than we realize. Hope is not a tender flower to be watered. Hope is verve shaking the past into freedom, trailblazing the future without dragging our boulders along. The present might be a gift, but the future is where we are heading. Hope is not a dewdrop on a blade of grass. Hope is the bravery to live our differences. The future is desperate, desperate for our portrayals and permutations in order to expand into limitlessness. - Charles Fischer

Witness
All we take for granted and don’t even notice for all its invisible endeavors That inner cherry blossom witnessed and marveled at by few All the sensory faculties at work gently and fluidly teeming Boundaries yet fellowship Order yet chaos Always forging new pathways filtering, purifying and refining All its processes and produce I am and ever will be a grateful witness and companion A devout cheerleader of this evolving future of Creation - Aud Wilken

In the Middle of Now
We know the medium of time invisible yet felt. Our lives impacted by this force that moves with relentless power. Like wind it touches all. Moving in moments, no visible means of support it travels over years knowing that with each moment nothing is the same as last. Time is a rocker bar between past and future. We tender time within the now, ephemeral yet real. The past we know, it is our journey to this day, forming, flowering, blooming freely into this space we call now. The future, we depend upon it. Do we not each night go to rest thinking into that which is yet to be? Our lives depend upon the morrow something in us trusts it to be there. We yield to the hope that tomorrow brings, able to move beyond that which has been done. Knowing that it formed this now, knowing that it can happen again, knowing that the dreams of life form in the now are enacted in the now that beckons to the future calling to be made fresh. We then become the bridge, the way ahead, the hope of tomorrow, as a result of the newly minted now. Hoping, aiming, caring in the way of that which caused us to be. That which caused us to be before the now into which we were born. The future, we depend upon it. The future, it depends upon us. - Sharon Lange
