You Were Given So Much

There are over 8 billion people alive right now on this planet—yet not one of them has the same fingerprints as you or anyone else. Each of us has been uniquely made and powerfully gifted. Here Dana Hoffer explores the significance (and responsibility) of this amazing fact.
You were given so much: A space to occupy, time to experience, energy to use, freedom of choice, consciousness ... and so much more, all wrapped up in a miraculously designed physical manifestation. All for you to use, in your unique, never-seen-before way and style. You were never, ever meant to be enslaved to someone else or something else, for to do so would be to deny your own purpose, your own essence.
When you agree to be harnessed by others, be it other humans or lower forces that wish to feed upon your energy, you give up all that you are, your very freedom to be what you are.
When you allow lower forces to consume your power, your energy, they become stronger, and even more hungry. The stronger they become, the easier it is for them to feed upon and enslave the lives of others, who seldom realize that their decisions and actions are being influenced by something other than themselves. When many people fall under the influence of the same low, destructive influence, they can do things that they might never do on their own (and perhaps even regret later). Both history and today’s news headlines are full of examples.
Remember: Your time is yours. Your choices are for you to make. These are gifts to you from something higher than you, not meant to be given away to that which is lower.
You are a human being. The Planet, the Sun, the Stars, the whole Universe are looking at you, waiting for you to make your own choices, to sing your special song, to dance your never-seen-before dance.
You are a human being, unique and precious to your creator.
